  May 24, 2017 - Our last bottle of the two cases we purchased five years ago. On its last legs. But, oh, the enjoyment we've had with this bargain basement offering. Other vintages haven't come close to the '09. Still drinking well enough to hold its own with tonight's beef leftovers. Drink up, if you've still got some.

  June 7, 2016 - tannins with a hint of dark blueberry nose, earthy with mushrooms and white pepper on the palate

  March 26, 2014 - In decline, but still a good midweek wine for, perhaps, the next 9 to 12 months. Still a robust red/purple in the glass with very slight bricking at the edges. Cranberry/raspberry nose, with plum, cedar and tobacco notes on the palate. Short finish that picks up some heat. My, how we've enjoyed this wine over the years.
