  March 18, 2024 - J'attendais plus de cette bouteille. Certes c'est un très joli vin, mais en dégust pure, il souffre d'une amertume un poil dominante et d'un manque de gourmandise. En mangeant, les paramètres se rétablissent un peu, et le vin est très agréable, un médocain classique avec ses notes de tabac/cèdre. mais il ne décolle jamais véritablement.

  December 7, 2023 - [Served blind]
  Definitely went to Bordeaux with this blind, ageing apparent with its tannins resolving and slight amber on the otherwise dark rim. It didn't taste green so it made me think of a hotter year or more left bank. I guessed Pauillac, Phil said he didn't get enough pencil shavings to go Pauillac and went St. Julien.
  
  A really beautifully aged Bordeaux that is hitting its peak. Structure is still holding firm with tannins fully resolving. There is good intensity of black fruit with graphite undertones, with tertiary notes of drying fruit. Hard to see this getting better except for preference towards more tertiary notes. Drink now for the next decade+.

  February 12, 2023 - Ruby with light garbet. Color just starting to change but still very red. Red fruit, cherries mixed with some aged aromas - dry leaves. Balanced and smooth on the palate with lingering acidity. Some residual tannins but mostly smoothed out. Really wonderful.
