December 28, 2017 - Out of 1000ml. So it’s cool, it’s original and it’s true to itself, but it’s also a tannic, volatile beast with high alcohol. It works with very particular dishes but only just. And you only want a glass.

    July 8, 2017 - Super funky and weird, not sure I'm a fan . . .

June 27, 2017 - Funky stuff, needs a few days (I waited 4 days) to come around. Patience will be rewarded.

December 31, 2016 - Super cool, somewhat bizarre wine. From 1.0 liter bottle.

Paired with Torta del Cesar, roasted pineapple sorbet, black pepper and balsamic reduction.

Loved this pairing; strong, lovely cheese and an amazing sorbet. This wine was like a weak tea. Also very interesting and light on the palate, and the finish is muted. Not much fruit in here; more about the texture and secondary flavors. Drank like an old wine, but in a good way. Fun stuff.

February 1, 2015 - Where to begin! Every comment I had seen on this was true, but none of them prepared me for the actual tasting and drinking. In short: orangey-brown, weak tea color; tomato, strawberry, maple nose; strawberry, tomato, hot cinnamon candy, nectar, lemon flesh palate with assertive acidity. The whole "white that smells and tastes like a red" turns out to be totally true, but the nectary qualities and the grace speak friuli white. Outrageous. And it's delicious. And clean, with terrific clarity of flavor.
