April 29, 2018 - Bought 3 at auction. Two clearly heat damaged (sticky stuff all over inside of capsule; wine muddy colored and shot) but this one had clean cork and capsule. Poured out thick and viscous, amber colored. Toasted hazelnuts, stone fruits (esp. apricots), honey and and a dash of smokey caramel on the nose. The palate was rich and unctous, but with a bright beam of acidity which balanced the sweet flavors perfectly. A smokiness to the palate too which is very attractive. Hugely enjoyable and I would think at peak.
