August 12, 2022 - Nice nose of strawberries, red cherries, and underwood. Good acidity with fully integrated tannins, cedar notes, forest floor, and more red berries on the palate. Nice finish. Still quite fresh, lovely wine.

April 25, 2020 - Fully mature fruit. Lovely nose of old pinot with a mix of raspberry, dried strawberries, earth, menthol, liquorice and some herbs. In the mouth it show good pinot charachter. Less evident herbal character, better fruit than Corton Pougets. Showing better concentration and depth than the two others in my opinion, similar level of complexity. Slightly less rustic and comes across with a certain Chambolle-like elegance. Easy to enjoy with moderate complexity.

My WOTN against 89 Ruchottes-Chambertin and 88 Corton Pougets. No reason to hold this any longer. Drink up.

February 25, 2020 - From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had a deep red center with orange rims. The medium intensity nose showed dried black cherries, plum, and some black spices.

In the mouth, this wine evolved over several hours. It ended up being quite ripe, maybe slightly overripe, with notable rounded tannin and decent acidity.

This wine is clearly at its peak, drink up!

November 8, 2016 - double decanted and would do that again. Everyone enjoyed. Some exotic or wood notes that I do not get from their other wines.

June 29, 2016 - Louis Jadot Cellar Visit and Dinner (Domaine/Maison Jadot and Couvent des Jacobins - Beaune): Fully mature black and red fruit from a clearly ripe vintage. Easy to enjoy, good concentration, moderate complexity.
