July 28, 2017 - Brought to dinner with friends at local restaurant. Opened about 30 minutes prior to serving. Would suggest opening and decanting about an hour ahead. Wine was solid and improved as the evening progressed. Primary flavor profile includes cherry, anise/licorice, and earthy notes. Medium finish.

December 20, 2012 - Wonderful wine. Decanted for 4 hours and tannins were tames quite a bit. Great nose and mouthfeel. A bit short on the linger.
