Community Tasting Notes 4

  • Jack O'Brien Likes this wine:

December 4, 2012 - This wine has intrigue. Nose of freshly slice proscutto, carne cruda with blackberries and mulberries finishing with violet floral overtones. Highly complex nose. The wine tastes like pure, tart cherry and raspberry juice, perhaps almost underripe as it is very high toned, but I like it. This wine is an interesting experience to drink, that I highly recommend. Mostly Sangio, but not Italian by any stretch. Best bottle of domestic Italian varitals I have tried thus far.
