November 22, 2023 - Lovely pinot noir at 14 years from a magnum. Surprisingly fresh, opens fairly quickly, well Integrated and smooth, good (not great) finish. I recommend drinking up, can't get better at this point. Fun to see the ageworthyness of Oregon PN.

September 29, 2016 - Ripe, somewhat musky bouquet; bordering on overpowering for a few at dinner. Cola, strawberry earthy flavors. Probably at a sweet spot right now

March 27, 2016 - Best pinot we've had in a while. Excellent fruit, acidity a little muted. REAL easy drinking.

August 23, 2015 - Boerne wine club oregon pinots 2015: Medium ruby, sweet red fruit and plum. 15.2% and hides it better than the Alexana Shea

January 25, 2015 - Pre-Birthday drive in the Willamette Valley: A whopping 14.6% alcohol on his one, but somehow that booze isn't as out of balance as the low alcohol 2011 rendition of this wine. Here the aromas are certainly darkly complected, but overall fairly light in depth. Nice, though. Really rich fruit on the pretty palate, which is impressively balanced for such a large wine. Fairly pretty. Huge dial up of acidity and lovely fruit on the finish. This is drinking as well as it did three years ago.

September 26, 2014 - A nice WV Pinot Noir , showing fruit and plushness of the 2009 vintage. This seemed ready to drink with no particular need to wait longer in the cellar. 90+

May 10, 2014 - Popped and poured the first of my 375s tonight. No need for decant. First tasted this one at winery in September 2013. Then, had a bottle at restaurant in B.C. in January 2014. This wine is hitting its stride right now. Perfect expression of a Dundee Hills pinot. Sleek, sexy style that pulls you in. I really dig it.

April 7, 2014 - Very versatile Pinot. Dark ruby color with balanced favors of flowers and Earhart on the nose. Very sophisticated. Smooth, complex with a wonderful long finish! Made you want more
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like toast and forest floor. It tastes like forest floor.
