December 10, 2021 - Consumed informally and enjoyed greatly. Not tired at all from my cellar
March 14, 2021 - I fear this might be past it, but have two more and am hopeful this was an odd bottle. Very fruity but flat about an hour after opening, through the evening and the next evening.
February 9, 2021 - A beautiful Zin example. Deep notes of cherry and currant, modest pepper, long finish.
February 9, 2021 - Drank with dry rub ribs for the Super Bowl - excellent.
October 24, 2020 - PnP and drank over 3 hours. Nearly opaque ruby/black. Huge nose that lingered throughout. Opened with earth and tangy, featuring big cherry with hints of raspberries. Good spice. Long, complex finish. Mellowed over several iterations, but spice and long finish remained.
3 hours later, nose and color the same. Earthy raspberry with tart (but big) cheery hints, and huge spice.
October 11, 2020 - PnP. No detailed notes. Smooth, rich, tasty. In a great place now, but should last several more years.
July 11, 2020 - Beautiful wine and I would say at its peak. Impeccable balance between the fruit and earth tones. Great structure and so enjoyable that it was tough not to gulp down!

October 24, 2019 - Wow what a couple of years makes cellaring this wine. Very integrated with bright fruit and plums. Really liked this with home made pepperoni pizza babysitting the grandchildren.
July 15, 2019 - Really nice and enjoyable with grilled ribeyes. So much sweet dark fruits at the end, though, makes me wish for a bit more secondary flavors. Do get a bit of pepper in there. Very big wine still at this stage of its life.
