November 11, 2016 - Drinking nicely now. Has what I think will enable its changing to be rewarding over a decade. So drink or hold. A real super second. Agree this is mainly primary now, was good enough on PNP that four of us downed in inside an hour.

October 15, 2016 - This bottle did not disappoint!! Did not have time to pre-decant, but immediately had it in decanter with a semi vigorous swirling. Tasted on initial opening, and was very muted and shut down with a bit of heat, but after an hour started to sing. Not as much bouquet as the most recent '05, and still getting a little alch on the nose, but was very nice and probably with a reasonable 4+ hour decant, would be much more vibrant. Once starting to open, a fabulous array of dark black & red fruit with a little plum and a little spiciness, but just started to show as dinner was coming to an end. All in all a fabulous wine and paired amazing well with the steak. Think another year or two in bottle could have this jump a point, and if your treating yourself now, would suggest a good few hour decant.

August 21, 2016 - Suprised how much I enjoyed this. For a second wine I wasn't expecting much, but this was a nice and well rounded wine.1 person found this helpful Comment

May 27, 2016 - Decanted for three hours before service. In the glass, dark, saturated purple-tinted maroon. On the nose, clean, pure aromatics of stone fruit and currants. On the palate, currants and a slight vegetal green pepper note, made me think cabernet franc, with a long, tannic finish (although not as tannic as I was expecting given other CT comments up to this point). Approachable now, but still primary - I think another 5-10 years are needed to bring out all of the goodness.
