May 27, 2016 - Decanted for three hours before service. In the glass, dark, saturated purple-tinted maroon. On the nose, clean, pure aromatics of stone fruit and currants. On the palate, currants and a slight vegetal green pepper note, made me think cabernet franc, with a long, tannic finish (although not as tannic as I was expecting given other CT comments up to this point). Approachable now, but still primary - I think another 5-10 years are needed to bring out all of the goodness.

March 19, 2016 - Fabulous BDX style wine. Still young and tight, but if you like tannins, it is amazing.

January 9, 2016 - Dark ruby-garnet. Initially shy nose that needs aeration to reveal aromas of dark plums, anise, liquorice, blackberries and dark chocolate. Initially firm tannins that mellowed signifficantly with aeration, rich fruit and low acidity. Balanced in its own right. Long aftertaste. Drink now after prolonged aeration or cellar for another 3 to 5 years.

September 25, 2015 - Superb; dark red; licorice, tobacco, concentrated dark fruit; smooth and silky, slightly tannic, very good balance; toasted tobacco-like aftertaste; excellent

August 10, 2015 - Best to wait, this is not ready yet. You can drink it, but will find it somewhat closed, still on the side- this will I think be a big wine, with complexity but it's just not ready yet
