May 10, 2024 - At it's peak, a little bit lighter for a Meteor cab but plenty of rich leathery tannins with enough fruit to keep it nice and balanced. Needs at least an hour decant, sip at first open wasn't bad but tasted a little disjointed/unintegrated. Drink now, will hold for several more years but not likely to get better.
March 8, 2023 - Very good. Cork almost like brand new so good for many more year.
May 14, 2021 - This one was a little muted, in comparison, but still tasty.
October 7, 2020 - new world cab and quite delicious
June 1, 2020 - Such an interesting nose at PnP. Aromas of warm red fruits, baking spice, vanilla, and yet some evolution to olive and earthiness. The color is still stunning in year eleven and shows no signs of slowing. Palate carries mostly red fruits, stewed, olives, nutmeg. So good and something certainly uniquely Coombsville to this wine!
April 28, 2020 - Awesome Napy cab!
December 9, 2019 - This was a bit "thinner" than I anticipated. Not sure if that was due to vintage or something else. Still medium-full bodied with a gorgeous ruby color. Gave it about 1 hr in decanter before we started drinking it. Warm berry notes and plenty of spice to it. Tannins have mellowed some but are still noticeable. It really started to hit it's stride hour 2+. Can't wait to have my other bottle and try other vintages.
October 5, 2019 - Excellent. A wine to look forward to drinking again.
