January 26, 2019 - Drinking beautifully, mature and integrated. Mellow, understated palate, tobacco, old leather, chalk, dark red fruit, nice acidic balance, in a really great spot, coats the mouth. Opened the evening prior, really strutting it’s stuff 24 hours later.

February 26, 2018 - In the middle of the drinking plateau. Nice depth, still a bit rough. Decant 1.5 hours. Enjoy over next 4 years.

November 12, 2017 - Mineral et léger côté Végétal. Élevage pas trop appuyé. Tannins fins. Très agréable!

September 21, 2017 - Notes after following for 7 hours open. Dark, inky ruby color with slow, clear legs and a small amount of sediment. Medium powered nose with bright florals and Bordeaux-esque fruit bouquet. Firm and well-defined palate, dominated by the Cab Sauv with special sauce topping from the Merlot & CF. It has some decent bones in terms of tannins and acidity, highlighted when accompanying food. Started off profound and glorious at the pop, faded within the next 30 minutes or so, then slowly reemerged over the following four hours. 5+11+16+8=90

April 24, 2017 - Bold red mountain cab. Took a good hour to open up. Dark fruit flavors with some chocolate. Should be able to continue to cellar a few more years no problem.

(Cadence Red Wine Taptiel Vineyard Red Mountain) A complex medley of tightly wound aromas of mineral, fresh cranberry, graphite, boysenberry, red plum, and floral notes. The palate starts out with creamy fruit flavors followed by a wave of fine grained – occasionally a touch dry – tannins that pick up the fruit and carry it off to a long finish. A refined, highly structured wine with a long life ahead of it. Give at least two years or decant extensively. 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, and 17% Cabernet Franc. 14.4% alcohol. Sample provided by winery.
