October 9, 2016 - I was expecting this to be past it, so a welcome surprise. Still plenty of soft brambly fruit, without the intensity of a great year, but with enough persistence to make the experience worthwhile. Not a good idea, however, to wait much longer.

December 4, 2010 - Served blind by a friend from decanter. Classic lead pencil, walnut and cedar on the nose gave this away as left bank bordeaux immediately. I was thinking more pauillac than margaux though. Beautiful showing. Lots of elegant, dark red/black fruit with smooth body but without being in any way flabby. Delightful and a point.
