August 11, 2022 - Some people will like this quite a bit more than I, but it's not what I look for in Burgundy. The wine is rich, dense, concentrated, extracted, and still tannic. And yet there is some Champans terroir here. Red fruits with some perfume. Tannic finish. New worldish. 14% stated alcohol, which was exceptional for the time. Cellared since original release.
