June 21, 2009 - 14.4% ABV. $30 in about 1998. Amber edge in the glass. Reticent nose. Touch of dry herbs. Currant, cherry fruit. Dry cherry fruit and dry herbs. Relatively low acidity. Well past its prime, but more alive than I expected.

June 13, 2003 - round but firm dark cherry sangio.

August 1, 2000 - 88% Sangiovese, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon - Good concentration with sweet fruit. Better than I was expecting. Nice expression of California grown Sangiovese. Good nose too.
