September 30, 2018 - Beautiful, fragrant nose. Flowers, light red fruit and spices. Understated, en finesse, notes of light red strawberry, spicy. Pure joy in a glass and at age 20 this still comes across as young.
October 15, 2014 - Deep cherry red. Nose spice and black cherries, plums and blackberries. Touches of earth and game. palate medium density and balanced with plenty of dark fruits and spices. Medium length with fine finish. Delicious and remarkably fresh for age.
April 26, 2014 - Deeply colored : real sense of Vosne Romanee spice and black fruits. Elegant with fine tannin spine providing classic length. Very good quality for the year and vineyard
November 3, 2013 - Last bottle. Good wine which improved over years gradually integrating strong tannins and oak into a balanced mature burg.
July 2, 2013 - Maybe a bad bottle. Thin and acidic, very few fruit flavors left, definitely past its prime.
October 25, 2011 - light garnet/ruby colour. Great mature nose offering up ripe small red fruits, leather, truffle, spice and sous bois. Nice balanced palate complete from front to back. Good mineral acidity with the tannins having softened. Great 2ndry characteristics. Long finish. Much better bottle than 2 yrs ago.
October 25, 2010 - Nose was great initially but died considerably after about an hour. A nice bottle that was not over the top but well balanced. Would not buy again for this price.
October 25, 2009 - garnet colour. Nose offers up ripe strawberry, soil, spice chocalate. Fruit starting to fade, slightly thin but quite good balance. nice minerality with quite long finish. Drink up!
