June 18, 2014 - Confraria - Junho 2014 (Restaurante Arturito - São Paulo - São Paulo): Really very good. Elegant. Delicate. Complex. Nice tannins and medium acidity. Drink alone or be careful with the food that is chosen.

April 1, 2014 - We weren't 100% sure what year this was. Part of label was missing, so we assumed a 2002. It did seem like it. Drank from improved water glasses. It seemed much older than 12 years. Some nice old funk and a hint of what we love from the great vintages of La Landonne. Not worth the $$$ but a fun drink.

August 17, 2013 - Medium red, orange rim; balanced stringent nose, black pepper; spiced, peppery, expressive (unlike the nose), very well balanced, good structure, slightly lean, a bit (too) acidic, lots of taste; very good

May 24, 2013 - Après la dégustation Sauvignon
Merci Olivier! 91-92 pts

January 12, 2013 - Saturday with David White (Domaine Wine Storage & Sun Wah - Chicago, IL): From a cooler vintage, this certainly has a lean, cool tone to it. The oak seemed to act like a blanket - giving a bit of heft and warmth to the violets and spicy plum underbelly. There was some nice meaty and peppery tones, but everything seemed turned down to a 4...instead of the more intense nature this cuvee usually has.

    (E. Guigal Côte-Rôtie La Landonne) Cocktail of framboise and kirsch on nose; lighter bodied than usual, but concentrated, plum, kirsch palate with savory notes; sweet long finish
