February 22, 2023 - Seemed slightly oxidized at first PnP. Threw into a decanter and that basically blew off and balanced out nicely as it opened up over the next hour or so.

October 22, 2022 - A terrific wine. In a great window now and will remain for years. Fascinating finish, very attractive semi-tartness oh so reminiscent of Bordeaux.. All class, knows where it's going and takes you there. A Bordeaux like only Napa can make.

May 21, 2022 - Gorgeous wine, well balanced and smooth as silk. It still has some fruit left while the tannins are super polished and acidity is well balanced.
It’s like a mature good Bordeaux with a little more fruit present. It drinks very well and will probably last for a good 5 more years. But why wait?

September 6, 2021 - Dark ruby/purple color, big nose of dark fruit and flowers, the wine is still pretty massive with ripe fruit, smooth tannins and a long delicious finish. Great wine that is drinking at peak right now, but likely another 5-6 years before it even starts to fade.

November 26, 2020 - Shared with some Norbertine priests over Thanksgiving dinner. Decanted for 8+ hours.
Remarkably good - full bodied, fruit filled, smooth. One described tastes of poppies.
Not showing signs of its 17 years. Probably good for anther five+ years.

August 20, 2020 - Decanted for two hours. The wine opened up tight, but evolved very nicely. On pouring it has this distinct garnet color that shows it graceful age. The nose is very floral and enticing. Medium bodied structure and the tannins faded nicely to create a velvety feeling on the tongue. I tasted dried fruits, and vanilla, with hints of tobacco. It gets better with every taste and every pour. Lovely bottle.

May 30, 2020 - Still going. Needs a good two hour decant but still solid. As expected, flavor profile is very dark red fruit. TN from RickyT12 below is spot on. Drink with food as the acidity is still very much there.
