September 29, 2014 - The 3 hour decant really helped this wine. Very closed when opened, then really blossomed with air. Citrus, minerals…beautiful texture and mid palate with nice length. Excellent acidity. In the pocket for drinking now.

September 26, 2014 - Light golden in colour.
Touch of smokiness on the nose.
Soft on the palate. Lots of minerality.
Taut and long on the finish.

    July 24, 2014 - Now we're talking!
Previous btl was just a fail. This one's cork also leaked: one tinge meandering its way along the poor cork's surface all the way to the top of the btl. Happily enough, this wine sang!
Enticing light yellow color with striking purity. Makes the Chablis BEAST in me wanna devour!
A rich nose with caramel, Piggelin popsicle, wet stones, small oak and earthy loam with sprouting grass. Chard allowing its smiley face. Non-typical but profound.
On the palate we are talking: up-beat acids on a slightly dis-balanced trinity of fruit-acids-intensity. Effable. Quaffable. Enjoyable. Expensive. Chardonnay typicity galore. Minerality everywhere. Long, lingering, transparent and beautiful. My only concern is the lack of concentration and the earthy finish that subtracts with its muddy unclean end-twist.
    (Wife: frown...)
One more btl to go, in 2-3 yrs time. The only btl of our three that had a perfect fill. Even if this wine will definitely last longer, but prem-ox is not desired and, in all honesty: feared for.
(Pst: In NZ they make them at half the price as THIS wine's price was just simply outrageous...)

July 24, 2014 - Either a bad bottle or the wine is past its prime. No fruit at all. Disappointing.

July 19, 2014 - Drank at Encore Rye with D. Light gold color with some slight green tinting. Nose mostly of citrus, but smelled slightly oxidized. Medium to fairly full bodied, lots of ripe fruit still here, mostly citrus. Wonderful mineral and slate qualities, along with crisp acidity. A wonderful example of an aged chablis that is singing right now, with plenty of time to yet enjoy future bottles. I would decant this wine next time to give it a bit more time to open up as there's plenty going on here.

(Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Cote de Bouguerots) Light yellow color; high pitched, green chile nose; medium bodied, ripe lemon, mineral palate with a strong green note, like Padron chilies, that wasn't there when I tried it earlier in the year; medium-plus finish (seems like the cursed '04, late onset Burgundy green meanies have claimed another victim)
