January 19, 2017 - Praise be, this is not oxed (unlike the Vaudesir and the Bougros which preceded it). Fine and mature, lovely sharpness and a hint of sea shells. But although this is very correct, it is not overly interesting. No excitement, not more-ish. Very good, but no more than that.

January 10, 2017 - Pop and pour and followed for 4 hours or so. Focused nicely after 2-3 hours. Beautiful complex nose of honey, stone fruit, chalk, wet leaves, a little baked apple, nuts, a little smoke, flowers, and some light tropical fruit on the edges. Citrus, stone fruit, spice, earth, honey, and minerals on the harmonious palate. Tart but mellowed acidity, delicious long finish, slight bitterness. Overall, this was an awesome bottle. Complex, complementary, delicious. I could not put it down.

January 7, 2017 - I can't imagine this bottle being any better for me... golden color, aromatically quite reserved at first but after being out all night and getting lots of air the wine sang with that intense, chalky minerality only GC Chablis can do... citrus has candied a bit... oak spice very much a background note. On the palate way less obnoxious with its acidity, lovely mid palate texture without being weighty. Balance, length, intensity, complexity... gave all it possibly could have. Big learning point is to give this wine air and time and cool room temp.

December 31, 2016 - Great bottle. Strong Corbuzzola honey smell. Medium gold color. Nice acid balance, brilliant florals, fine stony taste. If they are all like this one, there is time ahead.

December 21, 2016 - Light yellow. Funky nose of wax, seashell, apricot/stone pit fruits. Palate is concentrated, bitter, honey, peach, tactile, mineral long finish. Outstanding, mature Chablis.
