May 27, 2018 - Popped and poured. Lots of life left. Deep golden color. Lemon oil on the palate. Would purchase again.

November 10, 2017 - Beeswax, dried tropical fruits; somewhere between Chenin and Hermitage Blanc character. Very good, but tertiary character not quite what you'd like from either of the above profiles. Nevertheless, nice, though maybe this was more standout younger from my youthful consumption note.

  • ELipka Likes this wine:

    October 9, 2016 - Sadly past it's prime

  • Kevincrouch Likes this wine:

July 6, 2015 - Reminiscent of mead as it picks up air in the glass. Golden-hued and oily with a shifting palate as it breathes. This was not at all over the hill as many have indicated

June 30, 2015 - Delicate. Light. Sensitive? You can tell this is well-made, but I'm just not getting a lot of character with it.

Washington Wine Report

    8/3/2011 (link) ***** points

(Maison Bleue Petite Joie Marsanne Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley) Intoxicating, compellingly complex aromas of honeydew melon, marzipan, crushed almonds, and spice. Hard to get past the nose and take the first sip. The palate is textured with incredible body and weight with lemony acidity and an exceptionally long finish. Nothing short of an accomplishment of a wine that is the best Marsanne I have had from Washington by a long stretch. 100% Marsanne. Whole cluster pressed and fermented and aged in French oak (30% new). Aged sur lie for 9 months. 100% malolactic fermentation. 13.9% alcohol. 143 cases produced.Sample provided by winery.
