March 28, 2013 - This is a fun fruity Pinot Gris. Inexpensive and easy to drink. My wife and I really enjoy this - great on those warm Texas days! GOOD.

August 30, 2012 - Simple, easy drinker, don't look for too much in the nose or palate but its tasty for warm summer days. A tad watery the second night but a predominant passion fruit note remained.

July 5, 2012 - - Light gold color with medium forming legs and aromas of melon and honey. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of baker's yeast, vanilla and lemon with a light body. Bright texture with a medium finish.

July 4, 2012 - A good wine, but not exceptional.. in fact, didn't hit the standards of the King Estate Pinot Gris (the next level up). Okay bouquet, okay flavors, light flavor.

July 4, 2012 - I liked it. Very nice crisp summer wine with pear/melon/pineapple overtones. Not bad for ~$10.

June 8, 2012 - Good wine, I really like Pinot Gris, but the King Estate label is a better quality Pinot Gris. So while we think this is a good Pinot Gris, it just isn't as exceptional as the King Estate product, or other higher quality wines. It is light and refreshing, mid-level acid and a crisp apple flavor.

May 27, 2012 - This is a very crisp and refreshing summer wine. On the bouquet there are hints of tropical fruits and tart citrus with a slight vanilla aroma. Again on the palate we have citrus notes with green apple, very slight oak, and flavors of freshly cut grass. A very nice white wine, especially for the price point.

April 15, 2012 - Not complex. Light with pear/melon flavors. Crisp and refreshing. Not bad for $10 - $12. Probably better with food. Seems like a good pairing on a warm summer day with grilled fish or mussels.

April 11, 2012 - This is a very special wine. They made it in a soft, fresh, and approachable style that really emphasizes the fruit qualities. It also has a touch of residual sugar, that combined with a relatively low alcohol content, brings us a really lively, vibrant, and quite unique wine. The color is golden yellow. The nose is fresh white fruit, some orchard like pear and apple, some tropical, like orange, and kiwi, and some earthy like honeydew melon. These same fruits explode with flavor across the palate in a way that wine rarely does. There is a nice tangerine flavor that is close to the taste of a Torrontes. The touch of sweetness really enhances the fruit and brings it up a notch or two. The acid is by no means overpowering, but does the job balancing the massive fruit. Just a touch of spice at the back of the palate. The finish is almost orange juice like, in a good way.
