May 27, 2016 - Incredible nose here. I swear this is strawberry shortcake in a glass. Beautiful soft oak and vanilla just jumping out of the glass. Altogether it makes shortcake...amazing. Nice silky mouth feel due to refined tannins, with toasted almonds, strawberries, and stewed pomegranate if that's even possible. Several of us have said it really starts to shine after an hour...can't imagine it getting better but I will see. Love this stuff.

April 10, 2016 - Love this wine. It opens so much after an hour.

March 15, 2016 - Served pnp and re-tasted over 2 days. This is the last of the 7 bottles I bought in 2013 after RP gave it a 100 in a vertical of these wines.

Dark purple in color, this 100% garnacha wine revealed red currant, blackberry, raspberry and vanilla on the nose, followed by more dark fruits and minerality and meatiness in the mouth feel. Despite the 16% alcohol, it did not come across as hot and the tannins were well integrated. The finish was long and complex.

At $41US/btl, this was an outstanding bottle of wine with awesome QPR. Each pour got better and more complex. Cudos to Chris Ringland. This is a home run.

A Jorge Ordonez Selection. Imported by The Country Vintner, Ashland, VA.

December 20, 2015 - Slightly better than the last bottle. Double decanted and let sit for 4 hours. Will try another bottle in a year.
