September 29, 2018 - PnV. Last of 4 bottles. Surprisingly similar to prior bottle 3.5 years ago. Slightly more bricking in color and slightly muted nose, but flavor remains the same and the fruit has held up. Great texture and very juicy.

Enjoyed in a Riedel Vinum Chianti Classico glass at 65F.

June 3, 2015 - Fruity but with savory structure, easy drinking but multi-layered and complex, inexpensive but drinks well above its price. What more could you want?

March 28, 2015 - PnD about 2 hrs before dinner. Light reddish brick in color. This was the first time evaluating the wine in direct sunlight and it was a lot lighter than previously though. Overall, very much like the first two bottles. Perfumey nose of bright cherries, gardenias, and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, sour (but sweet) cherries dominate, with a really nice velvety texture and mild/no tannins. Super tasty and enjoyable.

Enjoyed in a Riedel Vinum Chianti Classico glass at 58F. This wine shows much better at 58-60F where its fresher and fruitier. Once it gets to 68-70F, the fruit takes a backseat and it becomes a little more hot. Its not overwhelming at that temp...its just better cooler.

September 27, 2014 - Nice, middle of the road (style-wise) Sangiovese that plays well with food and is nice to drink on its own as well. This one is doing quite well, and is a great buy for the woot price.
