January 7, 2013 - I like stevetimko's note below... modern style of Bandol that isn't very inspiring or distinctive...

June 6, 2012 - Wine wich has a lot going on. The nose on this one is really great. Some nice fruity flavours to start with, tannines start to show in the mid pallet and last till the aftertaste but aren't to strong. Nice long aftertaste. Will most certain buy more of this one. For 10eu, PQ wise a great Bandol!

October 27, 2011 - Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2011-09; France; Cassis, Palette and Bandol (by EvA): Fresh and primary bouquet with dark cherries and some lactic impressions. In the mouth quite expressive and still a lot of tannin. Not a bad wine and maybe it needs a few more years of ageing, but for the moment it is a bit one dimensional.

October 19, 2011 - Nice dark cherry flavors and sandalwood. No major oak, although it does seem more modern style. Balanced and lots of structure. Decent acidity to pair with food. This is begging to be aged for another decade, although it drinks well now.
My problem with it is that I couldn't really detect any mourvedre. No saddle leather, horse hair, bret, any of the fun stuff. Seems almost too sterile.Tasted like a Cotes Du Rhone more than a Bandol. But it may not taste that way in a decade. A T. Edwards Ltd. import.
