August 10, 2021 - Brilliant accompaniment to dinner of perfectly grilled pork chops. My last bottle from a case purchased long ago -- and so good it made me sad to say goodbye! No longer tannic, but still bursting with glorious fruit, perfectly balanced. Along with a Campaccio from long ago, this was surely the greatest Super-Tuscan value I've ever encountered. I encountered substantial bottle variation among the last 3 bottles from the case, but this one was truly in its prime.

July 3, 2021 - Better than the last bottle; this one still had lovely fruit, complexity and a long finish. Ridiculous quality for the price. Looking forward to the final bottle.

May 7, 2021 - Savory notes and a little dusty at first. Interesting tannin profile, quite circumferential and slightly to back of mouth. Some dark fruit in the mouth. Long finish. Quite the opposite of a recent bottle. Improves with about an hour of airing.
