Community Tasting Notes 11

August 19, 2016 - From impeccable storage. Complete cork. No leakage. Remarkably dark colour with some reddish notes remaining. Sweet but not over sweet nose. Warm, ripe, mature fruits. No Brett or VA. Quite weighty with significant though soft tannins present.

July 31, 2016 - Really good wine and drinking very well right now. Lovely dark fruit that shows a compelling mineral inflection - soil and rock. Also an herbal note. Well balanced and just delicious. Impressive, and this is in the company of a 66 Ausone.

    May 1, 2015 - Color: medium red
Nose: still alive & kicking! Mainly earth and mushrooms, not much primary fruits, green streak after 2 hours
Palate: delicious old Bordeaux, very mellow, and till has some red fruits, drink up if you have this trot, I enjoyed this Trot
    Rated: 92

November 30, 2014 - similar to previous experience, lighter body - not obviously Right bank, but a nice old claret - drink up.

April 7, 2013 - Similar to previous notes. Lovely, expressive, showing subtlety and finesse. So elegant and refined.
