March 5, 2017 - Full, honeysuckle and indeed honey, subtly floral - very nice but I was hoping for a bit more.

October 12, 2016 - Honeysuckle, apricot, some butterscotch on the finish. Very complex, this was continually changing in the glass over time me and as it warmed. This lacks a bit of acidity to make it truly outstanding- drinking well now nonetheless.

October 26, 2015 - Drank over 2.5 hours over dinner at Table@7.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellowish gold colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of honey, honeysuckle, white peaches, stony minerality, and a nice touch of petroleum oil emerged as the night wore on. Developed.
On the palate, dry, good medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of honey, honeysuckle, peaches, lime and limestone, stony minerality, and petroleum oil towards the finish. Acidity does dip a little as the wine warms up in the glass.
Outstanding quality Condrieu. Has a very refined aristocratic feel to it. Not big but stood up to the Indonesian cuisine. Ready to enjoy now. Could last another 2-3 years well.

June 25, 2015 - La Pyramide Dinner (Vienne - Northern Rhone Valley): Intense dried apricot with great fruit intensity and sweet spice aromas. Same flavor profile but coming across with good acidity and more restraint. Layers of flavors, lots of power. Very good now, I'd expect this will hold strong to close to 2020.
September 14, 2014 - A Great French Dinner (Indianapolis, IN): A fantastic white wine. Mixed floral, heather, stone fruits on the nose. Balanced acidity coming through. Great depth to the nose. In the mouth, nothing is lost. Equally balanced, and perhaps the first of several great wines where the nose and the palate are in synchronous harmony. There is weight without being remotely heavy. Supreme balance.1 person found this helpful Comment
