May 13, 2021 - 13.7% abv. Dark ruby, very expressive aromas. Ripe plum, mint, white pepper and menthol highlight a deep and fairly long palate impression. Well mannered, but vibrant. Tannins are pretty much resolved, but this wine has plenty of life remaining. Drinking great right now.

first taste was very balanced but with lucid well delineated plummy merlot-ness -

January 31, 2020 - Drank alongside the Klein cab of the same year. Clearly of the same lineage, but a bit rounder, smoother, more subdued. Both still have some serious tannins.

October 27, 2019 - Drinking wonderfully right now - beautiful fruit notes with a nice dryness that didn’t take away all the moisture in my mouth. Paired wonderfully with chicken. Decanted for an hour and got even better over the night. I wouldn’t hang onto these much longer but it didn’t seem to be losing anything quite yet.
