February 10, 2024 - Surprisingly young and energized- nice acidity,freshness and lack of oxidation - just a beautiful aged white burgundy

December 23, 2019 - Very clear botrytis on the nose here. I remember one note from release mentioning this (Coates) but it was still a big surprise. Lots of other aspects of it seem classic and there is certainly plenty of wine here -concentrated with excellent structure - but botrytised Puligny??! Once I'd got used to that it was rather good, but rather a lot of cognitive dissonance at first...
August 28, 2019 - During a VSR 1er Cru tasting. We stated off with this wine and boy, this good. All the great elements of a fresh burg with lemon curd, crunch corn, gun flint. Complex and long. A clear buy, especially at this price. Kudos to the Pernot team.
November 21, 2018 - nose of lanolin, honey, beeswax, pineapple, and fresh white flowers. very juicy and lively acidity, marked with tropical fruit, apple, and a very light bit of toast. very delicious, would say still on the upswing from here.
June 22, 2016 - Popped and poured. Incredible concentration on the nose. This is a young wine, but offers quite a bit now, with great concentration/extract in the mouth, great balance and a long finish. Will be fun to follow over the next decade+ if no oxidation issues.
September 8, 2013 - This is very young. Lots and lots of wine there, but both oak and sulphur could do with a bit of time to settle down. Great great concentration and acidity, and I expect a complex nuttiness will gradually develop.
February 18, 2012 - Fine Vines - New Burgundy Releases with Guest Jeanne Marie de Champs (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Incredibly floral start with citrus aroma accompanied by interesting fennel and pepper. Concentrated and powerful and rich fruit also with a perfumed character, then great energy providing lift from middle to finish.
