September 23, 2023 - Still a lot in the tank enjoyable big Syrah tanins pronounced but integrated into the dark fruit.
January 1, 2022 - Drinking perfectly. Delectable complement to our leg of lamb NYE dinner. Dark fruit, well-integrated tannins, nice structure, minimal sanguine/meaty notes but that’s how I like my Syrah (sorry—no Reynnvan for me), enticing nose true to the taste. Velvety mouthfeel. Sad this was my last bottle!
November 26, 2020 - I’ve had this in the cellar a d pulled out as part of our Thanksgiving wine options. The surprise wine of the day/evening. Still shows it’s power with dark fruit but tannins very smooth and simply delightful.
I can’t imagine it can drink any better and looking forward to my remaining bottles.
July 15, 2017 - Don't recall details other than it was better than expected. A very nice Boushey vineyard Syrah. 91-92
November 12, 2016 - Decanted for 2 hours. Just too much edgy acidity (tartness) for my palate. Food wine.
September 30, 2016 - Consistent with my 7/14/16 note.
August 31, 2016 - Really, really yummy. Full of flavor. Drink now (or send it to me to drink).
July 14, 2016 - big wine. Lots of blackberry fruit. Not much else. I seem to be less of a fan than other folks.
April 14, 2015 - Amazingly balanced Syrah with loads of complex flavors. Drinking very nicely now, but clearly will continue to evolve.
October 5, 2014 - What a difference a year makes! This was a fantastic bottle of wine! No notes to speak of, just wanted to make sure I updated my impressions. This wine was fully integrated, wonderful balance.
