June 11, 2011 - A funky, gamey nose of fig and melon as unexpected as it is interesting.

The wine has great depth on the palate with ripe melon and stone fruits amply supported by spicy oak. The finish has superlatives usually reserved for Pinot with a 'peacocks' tail of savoury stone fruits that seem to continue and gain momentum over the journey. The finish has excellent persistence and focused acidity.
