October 23, 2013 - With lots of minerality on the nose and not much of the ripe peachy fruit you would expect. Doesn't seem much like viognier from California and I am not sure if that is good or bad.

May 31, 2013 - Flat and uninspired, with muted fruit and an off-putting astringency.

May 22, 2013 - Somewhat muted for a viognier. But just opened too. Odd. Not sure about this bottle.

February 23, 2013 - Served double-blind at a CT offline. jdietz's note from 2011 still rings true, this is showing well, and, thankfully, was absent any of the blowsy banana split and orange marmalade that so often seems to accompany domestic Viognier. Fresh, still light on its feet, with purpose and clarity. Quite nice, and a welcome surprise. 14,0% abv, with at least a solid year yet ahead.

February 24, 2012 - Tasting room visit, 2/24. Floral, butterscotch, tropical and stone fruit bouquet. Focused fruit and rich texture with subtle spice. Opulent and balanced at the same time. Full finish. Impressive.

January 18, 2012 - Brioche viognier, maybe lots of lees contact or stirring? Not sure how or who or why to take this?

October 24, 2011 - Very tasty. No tropical fruit, but rather lemon, pear, peach melded together in a restrained style. It was delicious with tabouleh salad and an italian style paella. Under screwcap, this will likely stay fresh for some time. Great QPR too.
