August 20, 2014 - Compared to bottle a year ago this one had more perfume & floral, less earth & smoke. Light in the mouth with a short finish, but still pleasurable and a great value.

March 31, 2014 - Interesting. Very dark color, but light on the nose. Perhaps a bit of mulberry (?) and spice. Was surprised how light and soft this is on the palate; getting some raspberry or boysenberry over very soft, yielding tannins. More berries on a fairly long finish. To be honest, there's not a lot of depth here, but the soft fruit flavors and easy-drinking style make this oddly attractive. Relatively inexpensive, and well worth a try. Would drink soon, as this seems near its peak.1 person found this helpful Comment
