  January 10, 2014 - Detailed notes not taken. Decanted but still took a few days to open up. Complex and spicy. Agree this needs time but the end result was better than currently reviewed

  December 21, 2013 - Not near ready. Pretty harsh for a CdP and not developed yet. Needs time to hopefully mellow and develop.

  November 20, 2012 - nose: dry prune, chinese candied plums, dates, fig. Raspberry jam. Hint of Twizzlers. Fruit cake. Very nice aroma profile. Complex and inviting. Tobacco and sandalwood. taste: Barnyard, earthy, mushroom. Dry, medium body. Sour candied plums, peserved prunes, fig in the fruit profile. Flint, black pepper, and dry tea leaves. A bit too acidity and tarty around the edge. Great entrance and flavor but the structure does not live up to the rest. The finish is a bit razor-like. Too much dry medicine in the finish.
