December 13, 2013 - Blueberry, hot brick, chocolate covered cherry and plum. Velvety tannins that are not overpowering and the layers are somewhat evident. A serene and medium finish. Drink now - 2019.

May 5, 2013 - Great QPR ($19 on sale) - lush and fruit forward, agree with prior notes of one-dimensional (not at all complex), but no alcohol disjointedness... an enjoyable quaffer of a syrah.

December 10, 2012 - Dark, dark velvety red. Nose is allspice, cinnamon and blue fruits. Palate is dominated by alcohol! At 15% this wine burns your incentines, and the alcohol mask whatever flavour there might be. Very one dimentional, but what shines through is blue fruit and plums with a hint of cigar. Very spicey, and legs are longer than the average Dior model! Not my cup of tea, but a well. Made wine!

(L'Ecole No 41 Syrah Columbia Valley) A moderately aromatic wine with boysenberry, olive, mesquite, and chocolate. The palate is plush with fruit flavors and soft, pillowy tannins. 14.5% alcohol. 2,280 cases produced. Sample provided by winery
