June 21, 2020 - I was pleasantly surprised with this wine since I was 3 years past the drinking window. Bright Cherry color. I noticed the effervescence when I decanted it and on drinking it showed that on the tongue. Medium bodied on the tongue. Less than 1 tsp of sediment with this 2009 vintage. Wish I had another bottle. Purchased from WTSO in January 2013. Held up well in the cellar.

August 24, 2013 - Decanted for 3 hours it made a big difference. Great wine tonight
July 6, 2013 - This was much better than my previous bottle. I allowed it to open up over a few hours. The oak and red fruit was more integrated. The finish was medium and clean but with richer levels of raspberries and cherries.
June 21, 2013 - Solid red blend. Nothing outstanding about it... but no rough edges either. Purple fruit and some coffee on the nose. Blueberry, blackberrt and a little spice on the palate. Smoth finish... not much of a tannin backbone. I'd be drinking these now.
March 12, 2013 - PnVnD let air for 1 hour. Consistent with previous note. Great nose of black fruits with a touch of earth and oak. Flavors nice balance of Bordeaux and California. Lingering blackcurrant pastille and tobacco. Great rich mouthfeel.
February 14, 2013 - Decanted half the bottle through Vinturri and let air for 2hrs. Bright garnet/claret color with slightly brickish rim. Cassis and slightly pruny nose with a touch of tobacco. Medium weight with velvety tannin. Nicely ripe cassis plum and macerated cherry flavors with a touch of herb at the end. Drink up.

December 19, 2012 - Dark Ruby red with cranberry aromas. Tastes of red fruit, medium smoothness, tannins and finish...typical Napa Cab - nothing special.
