March 6, 2024 - Plenty of vigor here with delicious yellow fruits and excellent concentration. Love the notes of gunflint and clove spice on the rich, complex finish. Perhaps not as fine or elegant as the Lafon Meursault's on the table but in a good place for drinking now.

November 10, 2013 - Wow. Dark golden hue. Delicious nose of barnyard hay and apple pie. Acidity was in perfect balance. Paired with white truffle pasta.

February 20, 2012 - The Great Comtes Lafon, A fine wine tutured tasting with Jasper Morris MW (Berry Bros & Rudd, London): Light ,lemony colour. Restreined on the nose with floral notes. Elegant, balanced , mineral and very vibrant. Good acidity and vitality and feels like this has a lot of life ahead of it. We would go to the point of saying this has a feminine style to it. This was our favourite wine (ex Le Montrachet) and continued to evolve over the tasting. Superb. 94+ drink now but this has the capacity to go a lot more.
4 barrels made a year and since 2008 this now belongs to the Dominique Lafon label.
