June 3, 2022 - This bottle seems to be getting a little long in the tooth, so I'll be drinking my other sooner than later. Still enjoyable and with a bit of nice aged complexity, but seemingly on the down slope from peak. Medium (+) ruby with garnet edges. Smells like plum, blueberry, violet, graphite, anise, curry powder, and other dry spices, and a little barnyard funk. I do enjoy the nose here. Medium (-) body, medium (+) acid and finish, with a bright, tart constitution, and flavors of sour cherry, blueberry, lemon, and black tea.

December 10, 2021 - Such a deep and rich wine. Starts harsh and after an hour tobacco, cedar and ripe fig notes emerge. Really lovely for the price.
