Community Tasting Notes 24

January 24, 2024 - This bottle had an alluring nose of ripe red and black fruit, violets and spices. There was transparency and purity to the medium weight palate that had good acidity and fine tannins on the bitter-inflected finish. Enjoyable and at peak drinking.

July 16, 2022 - There is balance and purity to the ripe fruit flavours, with medium acidity and mostly resolved fine tannins.

April 16, 2022 - Minimal peach rim. Tepid nose of red fruit and faint white flowers. Palate of red fruit, short, lacking depth. Finish is smooth. Medium/low acidity. Probably peaked. Drink now.

    July 12, 2021 - Tasted over 2 hrs
-nearly semi-translucent med red mild clearing
    -gentle earthy cherry
-med acidity, med/med- weight fairly expansive and focused if nondescript iron/mineral dark fruit, med/med- tannins and a bitter note on the finish
    -still doing ok

April 7, 2020 - The poorest 2009 Burgundy that I have had in the past couple years. These should be drinking very well and they are tepid on the nose and flat on the palate. There is some floral tones that were interesting throughout. Very hit or miss with this producer...but seems mostly miss.
