June 11, 2022 - Burgundian, no malo, a touch of oxidation but still crisp and delicious.

July 18, 2021 - Just had a 2010 grand cru les clos Chablis, and this was a dead ringer for the same. Nicely done in a fresher, lighter style of Chardonnay.

February 28, 2019 - PnP with Arctic char. Very atypical Napa chard, in a good way. 13.9% but little oak and good acid.

November 12, 2016 - Bright yellow with hints of green at the edges, this wine reveals pineapple, smoke, lime and menthol on the nose. The mouth feel is full bodied yet bone dry and reveals more tropical fruit as well as subtle minerality. The finish is long and complex with nice intergration of the fruit and acidity.

A recent gift from my boss from his wine cellar, this is a delicious offering that has the denseness of the varietal, nice fruit and a surprisingly but enjoyable bone dry element that is drinking very well at this time. A winner.

October 4, 2015 - Tasting note as before. This really is an outstanding Chardonnay. At 5 years old it hits a perfect balance between fruit, age and austerity. Lemons, apples and a touch of something tropical. The long finish ends in hazelnuts and verbena. Drinking very well now.

September 5, 2015 - Pale yellow center, pale yellow rim.
Great nose of pears, ripe apples, a hint of something tropical but doesn't intrude, a touch of flint and lemons, a little yeast.
Smooth with apples and pears, a little citrus, shows great restraint but delivers excellent fruit and balance, very good acidity and minerality, great length.
As others have said, a very Burgundian chardonnay, excellent.

January 10, 2015 - Very Burgundian, tasted almost like a Chablis. Complete departure from typical Cali chard

August 28, 2013 - Citrus on the palate with a typical oakey finish. Butter and cream, but tart grapefruit does makes its way through on the finish. Very good, but don't feel it was quite worth the price paid.
