May 2, 2014 - Nose is beautiful forest loam, warm spices and dried currants and berries. Mouth feel is silky, maybe a touch overly old. But still some beautiful fruit and an almost sweetness to it (in a good way). Complex white pepper, plum, and a long finish with a touch of acid. From a 375- what a treat.

November 7, 2012 - Wow. 7 yrs past drink date and still hold nose. Still ruby red vs brownish

July 17, 2012 - Cherry, caramelly oak, dill, sweet berries, dusty mint, hint of tobacco. This seems like it has all the elements to really have impact but things are just out of phase and weird here.

January 11, 2009 - Initially the nose is cedary but that grew to be a strong green pepper aroma. Palate has a nice smooth rich mouth feel with plenty of chocolate initially. A good but not great wine. Not sure there is a lot of room for improvement but its not fading any either.

June 29, 2008 - What a great bottle! Wonderful nose...could inhale that for hours! Smooth smooth smooth...tannin free. 30 second finish. Will be on the hunt for more Ridge now!
