Community Tasting Notes 3

  • Rick Robertson Likes this wine: 87 points

November 28, 2017 - Tasted with spicy pasta. Deep ruby garnet color seemed appropriate for age, no browning. Very aromatic orange spice emerged with swirling. Sangiovese fruit still there. My wife agreed there were tobacco undertones. Nice lengthy finish with some tart cherry. Very enjoyable mature wine but would not hold. Would buy again.

  • Alduria Does not like this wine: 80 points

August 10, 2014 - slightly sweet on the first taste but totally flat after. Would not recommend.

March 25, 2013 - Not condusive with Italian flavors. This wine is a flat, fruit bomb, clearly made to compete in the low end california (mass produced)
