  March 26, 2016 - Bought to celebrate our 20th anniversary. It became obvious that the merchant had taken great care of this wine, as its condition was very nice. Cork in good shape. Decanted for a quick 30 minutes. Nice brown tinge to the color. Tannins had mostly faded, but the fruit, oak, and acid were all still present and well integrated. I had feared this wine would be in much worse condition, so this was a very pleasant surprise.

  May 24, 2015 - Cork disintegrated half way out. Some lightening in color, but not as much as I would have expected. Soft entry. Gentle, dark fruits. Overall gestalt was a weird likeness to a vintage port - sort of raisiny. Really nice texture. Past prime, but enjoyable. 87

  July 8, 2009 - Opened as a back up to Far Niente Cab, turned out to be perfect in that role, but didn't measure up to the Far Niente. Fruit still stong and complex.
