March 27, 2019 - Nose of black berry, dewy forest floor, licorice, and black cherry, more of the same on the palate, medium body, mouth coating rather than mouth filling, soft and supple, tasty, at it's best so drink up and enjoy your cellar efforts, has a long finish and pleasant aftertaste, holding up very well given the 2001 vintage. Uploaded bottle/label photo.

August 18, 2018 - Drinking beautifully. Excellent example of an aged,
premier cru, right bank. Dark in color, dense, with an excellent fruit profile, yet starting to show its age. Highly recommended if you are a fan of the appellation.
