Community Tasting Notes 4

July 27, 2019 - A big and brooding Pinot which had so much structure to it. It was unlike any Carneros pinot I have ever had. A great bottle and wish I had hung onto this one for another five years because it has the depth to last. I actually thought it would be long in the tooth. Great notes of dark cherry, chocolate, and pine.

May 19, 2015 - Decanted for about 30 minutes and my oh my! Earthy nose, however on the palate this Pinot was dense, mouth coating, rich dark fruit (not the light, bright fruit you normally encounter with a Pinot) with a lengthy and balanced finish. Absolutely delicious!

November 28, 2014 - A thick Pinot with lots of fruit and damp earth elements. This was really in my wheel house so I enjoyed it. The wine didn't seem to have that much life in it as after three hours of being open it seemed to get a little flabby.

April 6, 2014 - Friends drank it all too quickly. Just had a sip. Seemed a little timid but little unfair because it did not last long. Everyone else thought it was good but nothing earth shattering.
