Community Tasting Notes 9

March 18, 2017 - Darn, I really meant to save this but reorged the cellar and left the bottle within striking range. This showed well but others well fondling over the Saxum. That's OK, more for me. This was opposite end of the spectrum with bramble and edginess versus the softer Saxum. Good blackberry and fine young tannins.

December 26, 2016 - Dark blackberry and lots of chalky foundation. So good and so much ahead.

August 16, 2014 - Larry makes compelling wines at a terrific price point!

August 16, 2014 - This is a wine from a particular vintage that seems to taste better as it ages!

December 14, 2013 - Part of a Thompson Vineyard tasting. Usual dark fruits but just a hint lighter than the others. Thought the '09 was a touch better (but very close).
