Community Tasting Notes 4

January 22, 2015 - Deep black purple in color. Nice nose of violets and blue/black fruit. Palate is straight forward and not a whole lot going on. Fruit tannins, some heat on the finish. A bit disjointed. This is my last bottle of a case from AV on BerserkerDay. Some hits, but some misses. I'd need to taste before buying again.

December 12, 2014 - Harsh and hot. Will try it again tomorrow, but right now pretty close to undrinkable.

March 10, 2013 - The color is the deepest, richest, most velvet-y purple.

The nose is soft, but exhibits black fruits and plum.

The palate, while a bit one dimensional, shows spectacular fruit and sweet tannins. Volumous, ripe, jammy blueberry and blackberry fruit engulfs the mouth. A massive wine that is yet silky and smooth. Delicious!

    Med+ finish

February 4, 2013 - Strong blueberries and sage on the nose. Palate is loaded with berries. Something harsh on the finish disturbs.
