June 12, 2013 - Tannins intact, fruit may be diminished, opens well. Drinks well with food. Color good.

February 3, 2011 - As has been noted before, an excellent value. 45 minutes of air time revealed a light bodied wine that had softened tannins, a mild old oak flavor and aroma, light fruit (apricot?) just under the oak, and a long finish. I'd say this vintage is in its sweet spot right now. An ideal food pairing wine that's worth twice the price.

June 30, 2008 - Beautiful wine; it's put on weight since the last bottle I drank last year. Reminds me of a volnay...beautiful elegant red and black fruit with turned earth and forest floor notes on the nose. Lovely intensity on mid-palate with a lingering finish. Outstanding quality for the price; wish I had more.
