May 3, 2017 - Spottswoode Vertical 93,94,95,96 & a Bevy of '94 Napa Gems Among Others (Capitalle Grille, Mpls, MN): Medium dark gold color. Drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. Really nice, round and silky texture, orange, citrus, pineapple, spice, excellent balance and texture.

April 3, 2017 - at 20 years of age I believe it reached the best combination of freshness and complexity

September 26, 2016 - A restrained and elegant Sauternes. Not too sweet or heavy. But still intense. Dried pineapple and apricot, orange marmalade, saffron, flowers, wax, and custard. CellarTracker average score of 89.8? Gosh, I think that Sauternes must be the most underappreciated wine in the world. This is a 20-year-old wine that oozes class and is extremely complex and tasty. I'm sure that one day the wine world will come to their senses and Sauternes will be outrageously expensive. Until then, I need to remember to drink more of it. I wouldn't even balk at saying that Sauternes is the greatest wine in the world, price aside.

June 22, 2016 - 375 ml. Mer utviklet flaske. Sauternes modner ikke helt forutsigbart på halvflasker. Manglet friskhet og balanse.

(Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes) A bright and vibrant gold. Lovely honey aromas on an elegant nose. Vibrant and full of vivacity on the palate. Textured but elegant with plenty of botrytis. Sweet fruit with a toffee edge. Delicious. This is beginning to show some evolution but will improve for years yet.
